1. So today was the first day of lectures in my second year of med school. I had 4 lectures, pretty much back to back, on infection and immunity. It was confusing and difficult :s Above is a photo of a dendritic cell. Dendritic cells are important in the immune response. They are potent antigen presenting cells which is what they use their long processes for.
