1. Nursemaid’s elbow or pulled elbow is the subluxation (or partial dislocation) of the head of the radius. It happens in young children as the joint sockets are not properly formed yet. Pulled elbow usually happens when the child is lifted up by the upper arm while the forarm is pronated
